Week 8&9 The scene and the feedback
I am struggling about what kind of scene that i can create that can contain the relative information of dark crystal. Considering what i have been done and the time i got to finish this project, i decide to focus on the observatory instead.
I was mainly considering landscape like mountain area, desert or forest, which i have always want to illustrate. However, i do not come up with a clear concept that can correspond to the world setting. And i figure there are not much time for me to do more exploration not only for the world concept of dark but for the skills of drawing landscape.

Feedback:
1.The room seem to be too tidy for Aughra. As it was shown on the previous movie. It is a short and messy creature.
2. The desk and the cabinet seem to be too high as the equipment for Aughra.
All in all, it is necessary to design the environment in consider of the background story.
3.My tutor also suggests that it is easier to digitally drawing rather than tracking pencil drawing. It is always easier to adjust afterward if the objects are in different layers.
4.The upper-right corner is kind of empty. There should be something there(a ladder/stair to the upper level). The foreground could be explored more to show the environment that Aughra works on.
